Written by Dejan Sudjic, Director of the Design Museum, The Language of Things deconstructs and examines our relationship with the objects that surround us, from the mass produced to original works of art. Our task was to design the cover, page layouts and act as picture editors for the project. The book took the form of a classic text book with modernist elements. Comparative images were used to illustrate the text, while the cover referenced technical manuals, product catalogues and Mao’s Little Red Book.
